Thinking about closing down the website completely at the end of the year, I don’t really have any interest in keeping it anymore.  No one seems to be coming by anymore other than spammers that post nasty junk on forums these days as well.

Well, it’s been a few days since I started Everquest back up and I’m enjoying it quite well.  Made it to level 14 so far on Narcon, my iksar beastlord.  Found something neat already, was fighting a skeleton in Kurn’s Tower this afternoon and he changed into a unmasked changeling which dropped a nice little augment.  ^_^

Here’s a link to  my character’s profile.

A few days ago, I was disowned by my parents and thrown out of my own home.  At first I was furious, but after talking around to other Iksars, I finally calmed down and decided to follow in my father’s footsteps as a Beastlord.  So I make my way to the local trainer and did some initial training.  He was pleased in me, especially once I learned how to summon forth my warder, a ferocious scaled wolf, one of our main game that we hunt for out in the Field of Bone for their fur to make armor out of.

Today, I made my way to the Plane of Knowledge, the central hub of traffic within the world of Norrath.  There I met with a mysterious person who gave me a black warhorse to ride on, and boy was it fast.  That’ll make my travels easier, although in some places my horse wouldn’t follow me for some reason.

I think I shall begin leatherworking tomorrow, but for now I rest at the local inn!

I got tired of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes due to lack of people playing so decided to take a leave from the game and return to Everquest.  Will make a journal for Everquest when I start back up.

Well, heard today the final decision on the names of the new servers.  First of all, I’m very disappointed in SOE for now keeping Florendyl as the RP server, there’s not even going to be one at all.  The majority of Florendyl even wanted to KEEP their home, but instead SOE pulls out the lame excuse that the server population has dropped by 30% since they asked the community this.

I’m like “What the heck, don’t they know this is vacation time for a lot of people now”?!.  In a way they good outweighs the bad on this though, but I did enjoy role-playing in the game.  If they re-open Florendyl in the future or another name for a RP server, I’m heading right to it.

On another game related note, I’m very impressed with SOE and the latest patch for Vanguard.  I didn’t expect a big improvement in the game like I got, but it sure did surprise me greatly.  They still have a long way to go to optimize the game, but they’re off to a good start.  There’s still some memory leaks here and there, but nowhere near as often beforehand.  I can run the game now nicely at 50-60FPS on medium settings with certain features lowered or completely turned off.  I’m happy with the way SOE is going with the game, I just hope this post doesn’t jinx them, hehe.

Sorry for lack of posts on the website lately.  I’ve been pretty busy.

Thinking about attempting a webcomic on website to see if I’m any good at it, but don’t expect that for a few months down the road though.

Just wishing everyone who observes it to have a great July 4th in a few days from now.  :)

A guildmate of mine from Vanguard posted this on their forums.  It made me laugh, it’s a comic about SOE screwing up server merges.  :)

I’ve been having trouble with Vanguard after about a week when I got my new video card.  At first FPS jumped nicely, and then after the first week it got dragged down below 30FPS for average.  I figured it’d be my PSU not having enough amps on the +12V rail which was a 430W psu with only 17 amps on the +12V rail.   New one is a 500W PSU with 28 amps on the +12V rail.  It boosted my FPS in Vanguard from the -30FPS for average to 50-70FPS range at BALANCED settings!  ^_^  Was worth the buy.

Now I can start adventuring through vanguard once again!  ^_^

Yesterday Blizzard has officially unveiled Starcraft 2.
